Getting out and drawing again has been a really nice change of pace despite that I am so ridiculously rusty at it. Since buying my car has meant pretty much no reason to use public transport or be stuck waiting for it, which was always the time I'd spend drawing people and things around me. Now I need to REALLY make the effort to go out there... I did this on Saturday at the local shopping center and overheard someone saying what I was doing in the food court was "so weird". There are worse hobbies however... and I was having fun, so nyah to them.
Below... some warmup doodles. I'm enjoying working with shapes and enjoying the fact that I'm enjoying just drawing again. For a while there it really felt like something I had to do rather than wanted to, and that is never right.
