Lately I have been trying to get back in the habit of making cards for people as gifts. I started making this for a friend's birthday (which is today), but haven't quite gotten around to finishing the colouring yet. It feels kind of different from what I usually do, but I can't put my finger on why. I hope to finish it this weekend. Drawing opportunities are still few and far between lately, but I think I'm not being active enough about it. Although it's probably not, the dayjob seems so draining sometimes.

Lightning round sketch for Heri, of her Red Wizard Emanhothep. I'm pretty sure this is almost exactly the same pose (chair/book/angle) that I did for another picture and character some time back, but I did it without remembering. Goes to show how one can be very redundant with what they draw sometimes.... The theme was "pyjamas" =)
